The Village of Fife Lake is accepting applications for a provision center/recreational marihuana facility beginning May 22, 2023, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm daily Monday through Friday. Applications will be accepted at the Village office located at 616 Bates, PO Box 98, Fife Lake MI 49633 in person or by mail. Applications are available on our website www.fifelakevillage.org

The Village of Fife Lake is seeking sealed bids from qualified contractors for an Alley Reconstruction and Restoration Project. The project involves the restoration of the alley behind the post office. Interested contractors are invited to submit their bids for consideration.
Project Scope:

Remove and Haul Away:
-
Clear leaves and overgrowth from the area.

Remove debris and clean the existing drainage gutter.

Grade Preparation:
-
Cut the grade and crown the alley, approximately 150 feet long (subject to utility constraints).
-
Ensure the preservation of a tree located at the bottom of the hill.

Gravel Delivery and Spreading:
-
Deliver 30 cubic yards (or more) of Afton gravel to the designated location.
-
Spread the Afton gravel evenly to create a stable and functional surface.

Work Site Cleanup and Equipment Removal:
-
Clean the work area, ensuring it is free from debris and obstructions.

Remove and haul off equipment from the location.

Notice of Public Hearing
The Fife Lake Area Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing at their
regularly scheduled meeting on June 13th, 2023, beginning at 6:30 pm. The
meeting / hearing will be conducted at the Fife Lake Township offices, 134 Morgan
St., Fife Lake Michigan 49633. During the public hearing portion of the meeting, an
ordinance to amend the Fife Lake Township Zoning Ordinances will be presented
proposing to delete the current prohibitions of walk-up windows, drive through
services, and drive in services at any Marihuana provisioning center or retail
establishment and to delete any current reference to certain business hours at any
Marihuana provisioning center or retail establishment in the Commercial,
Industrial, and Planned Development zoning districts. The proposed amendments
will affect all property within the Commercial, Industrial, and Planned
Development zoning districts of Fife Lake Township and are not specific to any
individual parcel or lot.
Written comments may be submitted to the Fife Lake Area Planning Commission,
c/o Fife Lake Township, P.O. Box 87, 134 Morgan St., Fife Lake, Michigan 49633 and
will be accepted up and until the time of the meeting.
All meetings of the Fife Lake Area Planning Commission are open to the public.
